ARTEMOSAICO was found in 1975 by Liborio Puglisi. Born in Enna, attends for 3 years the mosaic school, where he wins a bursary and then moved to Ravenna to learn the Byzantine technique and restoration.
Puglisi opens his first workshop in via S. Gaetanino, transfer then in Via Cavour, subsequently in Viale Baracca, and actually in the new workplace in Via Faentina 218/X.
In 1980 begins the collaboration with Maria Maddalena Quattrocchi, graduate in the "State Institute for Art and Mosaic" of Ravenna, a cooperation that persists till today.
ARTEMOSAICO makes mosaics with classical techniques (Byzantine, Roman, modern, ...) where the chromatic fidelity is amazing. The ancient procedure requires a deep knowledge and a perfect mastery of the technique.
Besides any kind of mosaic production, ARTEMOSAICO thinks about passionate with a "do-it-yourself" idea: mosaic kits for make mosaic at home for hobby.
From 2000 start the experimentation and the production of glasses and gold for mosaic, getting excellent results.
